To use the various features of the app, you will need to log in again or create a new account after the update.
Steps to log in:
1. Update the Nikkei Asia app.
2. Tap the account icon in the top right corner when you open the app.
3. Tap "Log in" and enter your email address and password. If you have never created a Nikkei Asia ID, tap "I don’t have an account" and enter your information to create one.
- Subscription information within the app will be carried over.
- Due to technical restrictions, saved articles and timeline settings from the current app will not be carried over to the new app. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
- To continue use of the app, you will be required to update by the end of March.
- “My News” now on the app: Follow your favorite keywords to stay updated with the latest news and save articles for later.
- Simple navigation and customization: Direct access to “My news” and customization of your feeds. Your favorite topics can be easily added to the home screen from the pencil icon in the top right corner.
- News by Location and Trending Topics: Access a feed of stories sorted by locations and topics that Nikkei Asia is focusing on.
- Direct access to the app: Seamless experience on your mobile device with direct access to the app through our newsletters (Available this spring)
This is just a start, more convenient features and upgrades are planned for the future.
