Please note that the “Log in” button does not show up for some of our subscribers accessing via desktop browsers due to an issue with our login management system. If you are facing a similar issue, please complete the following steps.



1. Make sure that cookies and JavaScript are enabled for asia.nikkei.com.

2. Check your ad blocking or privacy blocking extensions.

3. Clear your web browser’s cache and cookies.

4. Check if our website is blocked by a security application.



1. Make sure that cookies and JavaScript are enabled for asia.nikkei.com.


Google Chrome

- Enable cookies

- Enable JavaScript


Safari (Mac)

- Enable cookies

- Enable JavaScript:

 1. Access the security section of Safari preferences.

 2. Turn on the Enable JavaScript option.


Firefox

- Enable cookies

- Enable JavaScript

2. If you use ad blocking or privacy blocking extensions, please whitelist our website’s domain (asia.nikkei.com). If the issue is still not resolved, turn off those extensions from your browser.


Here are some examples of how to disable extensions or whitelist a website domain:


- AdBlock:

If the extension icon is not pinned, visit asia.nikkei.com and click the puzzle piece icon on the Chrome bar. Then click the AdBlock icon on the dropdown menu.

Click `Always` to disable protection for our website.


- AdGuard:

AdGuard: If the icon is not pinned, visit the AdGuard settings page from the extension settings page for your browser. Add asia.nikkei.com to the Whitelist.


If the icon is pinned, visit asia.nikkei.com and disable protection for our website.


- Privacy Badger:

If the icon is not pinned, visit the Privacy Badger settings page from the extension settings page for your browser. Add asia.nikkei.com to the Disabled Sites.


If the icon is pinned, visit asia.nikkei.com and disable protection for our website.



- Ghostery:

If the icon is not pinned, pin the extension. Visit asia.nikkei.com and click “Site Trusted.”


How to remove extensions from your browser

4. Check if our website is blocked by a security application.


This may be managed by your organization's IT department. Make sure the domains “asia.nikkei.com” and "piano.io" are not blocked.

If these do not resolve the issue, please try viewing in private mode or try a different browser.
